happy sunday yall!!

like last week, i found another verse in psalms regarding the evil intentions of people in power in this world
"So don't be dismayed when the wicked grow rich and their homes become ever more splendid. For when they die, they take nothing with them. Their wealth will not follow them into the grave."

horrible people might rule over us in this lifetime, but in the next one? the only thing that will be important is Jesus and what He's done for us
those who put their faith in Jesus are actually much wiser than this generation with their complicated schemes for self gain, because they stand firm on something that can't be shaken; not in worldly power and possessions that can be taken away on a moment's notice

so don't be discouraged by the things and the people of this world- because in the afterlife, we have an eternal inheritance that can't be taken away <3
